| FIRST WISCONSIN REGIONAL NASA GRANT TEAMS |
The NASA application process for FIRST team sponsorships begins in mid-September each year. Check back here at that time for a link to the application.
Past applications have asked for the following information. PLEASE NOTE: The information below is provided as a reference only. Each year the application is subject to change. Also, the availability of sponsorships each year is contingent upon the availability of funds for this activity within the NASA budget.
Previous applications have required:
- School contact information
- Primary contact information (the main teacher or mentor)
- Secondary contact information
- Corporate mentorship/partnership information--what other organization(s) will be supporting your team?
- Essay questions:
(1) Why are you participating?
(2) How will you organize your team?
(3) What is your budget?
(4) Who will mentor your students?
(5) How does FIRST fit with your local curriculum?
(6) What facilities will you use?
(7) Do you have the support of your school administration?
(8) If you are a returning team, explain how you will mentor a rookie team.
(9) Explain your matching funds (minimum of $6000)
(10) Have you integrated FIRST into your school curriculum? If yes, how?
(11) What additional information do you have?
